Welcome to the new age.

When I was growing up, I remember accommodation signs that my family looked for such as "Air Conditioned Rooms", "Swimming Pool", "Color TV" and finally "Cable TV". The latest sign most folks look for is Wireless Internet in all rooms. Several recent articles stated that the ability to stay connected to family, friends and in some cases "the office" was very high on the must have list.  A greater number of vacationers do not wish to give up the morning routine of (1) start the coffee pot (2) turn on the computer (3) the rest of the day. Having the computers in the lobby was a good amenity, the low cost of laptop computers has necessitated going to the next step:

On or about May 10th 2008 The Summit will be shouting to the world "FREE WIRELESS INTERNET IN ALL UNITS"

In the last meeting the Board of Directors voted to issue a contract to Total Vision to connect all units wirelessly to the internet. After months of work with Total Vision, the Summit Board and the Summit Wireless Committee, a start date is set. If all goes as planned, antennas will be placed on our beach side light poles that will broadcast the wireless signal to all units using the latest in technology. Owners and guest will be able to access the world wide web from the comfort and privacy of their condo.

DELAY: 5/06/08. The Total Vision Company has not received the antennas necessary for the system. As addition information is available this site will be updated. Wireless is expected by the end of May 08.
