By written vote of members of The Summit Owners Association, Inc. on September 16, 2006, in the annual members meeting, the Declaration of Condominium was changed as follows:

Article 9 of the Declaration of Condominium of The Summit is hereby amended to add the following:  (exclude words in RED)

START:    H.        No animal, poultry or livestock of any kind shall be brought onto the premises of The Summit for any reason, except that this shall not prohibit the keeping of goldfish, tropical fish or caged birds as domestic pets provided they are not maintained, kept or bred for commercial purposes and provided further the keeping of goldfish, tropical fish or caged birds will not constitute noxious or offensive activity as defined by the Summit Owners Association Board of Directors.  This prohibition does not include service animals,  as defined by the American Disabilities Act, that are individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.  END

This amendment has been recorded at the Bay County Court House in keeping with Florida law.
All owners should attach a copy of this amendment to their condominium documents to be given to any new owner.
